Meet Goldie the half-elf and her werebear partner "junior".They`ve known eachother since they were kids (Just how they met is another story).Life for detectives in the misty forest of Thornedale is tough, goblin streetgangs, the new drug "Redshoes" that makes ravers dance `till they die of dehydration, and the Werewolf crime-boss Badd all mean life is never dull.
But Goldie`s Wushu skills, her aim with a 9mm and Junior`s supernatrual senses, strength and shamanic magyk mean they can handle whatever the mean...er...clearings of Thornedale throws at them.

HelicaseHelio and I were always sitting on the stairs, chatting about the lamina and occasionally making snide remarks about ribosomes. There wasn't much for us to do. Our job was to simply be, and let the RNA scribble down the letters on our foreheads when they came around every once in a while. Helio was a G, I was a C. It wasn't exactly fulfilling, I suppose. There wasn't much to be filled. So to pass the time, we talked.
